Sending Your Publications

Deadlines:


The deadline for publication is every Wednesday at 5 pm for the following Tuesday's issue.


Guidelines:


Press releases should be from the area. They should be typed or printed CLEARLY, so that they are easy to read. They should be on 8.5"x11" paper. No tiny notebook paper, please. When submitting press releases, please include your name and a phone number that you can be reached at in case questions arise, your name and number will not be published in the paper.


Press Releases with Photos:


Please see the "Photo Submission" page for more details on photos in addition to the press release information on this page. These can be emailed, please call for email address. Please type or paste the text into the body of the email. Or you may send ".doc" or ".txt" for text. Photos must be ".jpg" format, directly from the camera. Please, no ".docx" or ".odt" files.


Letters to the Editor:


  • Letters to the Advisor should include the writer's name, address and phone number.
  • ALL LETTERS MUST BE SIGNED. Unsigned letters will NOT be published.
  • Letters must be no longer than 400 words due to space limitations.
  • The Advisor DOES NOT edit letters, they are published as they are received.
  • Deadline for submission is Wednesday at 5pm.

Engagement & Wedding Announcements:


  • Download Engagement Form HERE, and Wedding Form HERE.
  • Simply download the form, print it out, fill in the blanks and return to The Advisor office.
  • You may mail, fax, or drop off the form at the office in person.
